December 29, 2007
We have met our families once again in this year and spent some nice time with them.

Our friend Frizzy (Briard Frizzante Furioso Gris de la Maison du Garde-Barrière) needed his yearly vaccination, and so we have combined the visit at our vet with a visit at our breeders, family members and friends. Now we look forward to meet them all again in the New Year.

December 15, 2007
For the upcoming holidays and the imminent turn of the year we wish everyone - but especially our family and dear friends - all the very best!

Today Mum was playing Santa Claus and went over to our breeders in Slovakia with our presents. Unfortunately Ula and myself were left back at home and only Naomi and Fidji joined her, but since she did not stay away too long, it was not that bad.

First they went to Ivana and Lubo, where the new grooming table was unpacked, so that we don't need to have our own one with us whenever we have shows in Slovakia. Then Mum and Ivana went to our vet to get some dog food for all of us, and of course also for wishing nice holidays. Back to Ivana and Lubo, where the presents were interchanged, and for all the four pawed ones of us Ivana sent a pack full of treats. THANK YOU, dear Ivana!!!

Coffee was hardly drunk, when the tour continued: again together with Ivana to our breeder Iveta and Jozef, where again presents changed the owner, and where they had a delicious lunch. The stay there was also only short, as there is a big family celebration today on the occasion of Jozef's birthday a week ago. And soon Mum was back home.

Now it depends on the weather if we are going to drive to our families and friends before the turn of the year or if we are going to meet them all again only next year. Let's see how things turn to be ......

November 26, 2007
During the last weekend we (Ula and myself) finished our this year's show season. Together with Mum and some very special friends we have once again made a long trip: we have been in Zagreb at the two days International Show.

On Friday evening Ula, Mum and myself as well as our Briard friend Courage went to Naomi's and Fidji's breeder Ivana and her family, where we waited for our breeder Ondrej as well as Magda and Franta (kennel Avokaduh), and then during the night all together drove to Zagreb with two cars. On time before show begin we were there and could put up all our kennels and other things in a "calmer" corner in one of tha halls.

As Courage was judged in another hall than we, there was a kind of "restlessness" in the beginning because every now and then it was necessary to check when Courage would have her turn. Ivana and Ondrej were prepared that just in case both of them hat to show us if Courage would be in the ring with Mum at the same time, but everything was perfect and so all of us could be handled by Mum. Courage was the first and our youngest Briard family member (16 months old) came out on top: Exc. 1 CAC CACIB and she also got a special award of a Croatian Briard Breeder for Winners Bitch. Ula and myself did not come out that good: Ula got Exc. 4 and I Exc. 2 Res CAC. Mum still was of course very pleased, as with the result of Courage she was thrilled.

Ivana unfortunately also did not come out with Naomi's father Falkor as good as we all had hoped for and wished. And also Magda could only partly take home results which her dogs deserved. Oh well, this is "Show Business". Still late in the afternoon we drove to our hotel cheerul and spent some pleasant and funny hours together before we went to bed rather early because of lack of sleep in the last night.

Sunday morning brought a surprise for Mum of which she was not really happy: already on the past evening Ondrej had recognized that one of the tires of the car had less air, and that was why Mum wanted to fill up the tire on the next day after the show, so that the car was fixed for the way home. Mum woke up early in the morning and went for a walk with Courage. A look at the car brought her heart being in her mouth: the car tire did not have any air and the wheel was standing on the rim. Now Mum needed help and asked at the hotel reception that they called somewhere to put off the bad tire and fix the spare tire, which would be combined with some work as in the back of the car there is the big crate for our Briards which hinders a bit to get to the spare tire. But after only two phone calls help was organized and everything went perfect. Shortly before 7 a.m. a driver of the Croatian Touring Club came, hoisted out the dog crate, changed the tires and put back the dog crate to its place. For 40 Euro our car was fully roadworthy again within 10 minutes. What else could now bring Mum to stress after this morning surprise?

Again on Sunday we had a comfortable place for us dogs and all our things, and again everything was perfect with the two different show rings for Courage and us. And also this time Courage came out of the ring with a wonderful success: Exc. 1 CAC and Res. CACIB. Great!!! We are mighty proud of our friend that with only four shows in her life she already has such excellent results. For us Chinese things were nearly as the day before: Ula got Exc. 3, myself again Exc. 2 Res. CAC and also Falkor as well as Magda's dogs remained behind the results, which they would have deserved. No matter, we have spent a gorgeous weekend together. Mum was happy as she still has been very successful with one of our family members, and therewith, early in the afternoon we started our trip back in direction home. We drove again to Ivana and late in the evening back home, where we were welcomed heartfully by all the other family members and immediately - without unpacking the car - went to bed tired.

A warm thank you to Ivana, Ondrej, Magda and Franta for this weekend together with them and lots of thanks to Ondrej and Franta that they have been helpful at any time for Mum with the transport and putting up and down all our things. Mum and we are proud to have such great friends.

Until spring 2008 we have a show rest, but in the meantime we will meet our friends every now and then, as we don't stop our trips to Slovakia. :-)

November 5, 2007
We have once again spent a nice weekend: great days with our families and friends and two shows.

On Friday noon we "Chinese" together with Mum drove to Naomi's and Fidji's breeder Ivana and her family where we spent a great time and two nights. We have been styled and late in the evening our breeder Ondrej came over to bring the finishing "touch" to us.

Saturday at noon our trip was to Nitra together with Ivana, Lubo, Mum, Naomi's dad Falkor and Carrlos, where a Special Show of the Slovakian Chinese Crested Club took place, and where we met some other family members, namely Ula's son Armani and her daughter Airy Ancietta as well as Ula's nephew Calvin. My son Dior was entered, but unfortunately did not come (Mum would have been interested to see how in the meantime he has developed). We all have been shown, for Naomi and Fidji this was the opening in the show ring. For all of us as well as for our breeders and owners there was great success: the young Airy Ancietta got the BOB, Falkor got the Exc. 1 in open class, and there was also good respectively great success for Fidji, Naomi, Ula and myselfh (the corresponding link is found a bit down below).

Contented and happy we went back to Ivana in the evening, where also our breeder Iveta and her husband Jozef came, and where the humans once again got a most delicious dinner, prepared from Lubo, and the smell of it made our mouthes water. But he has also spoilt us in between.

On Sunday early morning we went to Nitra again, this time for the CACIB show. Except our little Fidji we all were in the show ring, but of course Fidji has joined us. Ula's son Ambiente was also there, as well as her daughter Airy Ancietta again, and of course some of our friends. It was a bit hectic as obviously the parking spaces were gone and we had to wait quite a while for driving ahead, and then we had to walk quite a distance to get to the show ring (actually it was only the humans who had to walk, as we were in our comfortable transport kennels and were driven). At the ring there was also no more space for us, and so we had to search for a corner to have our kennels there. Everthing was hectic, as the judge had already started, and so it happened that Falkor nearly immediately after our arrival had to get into the ring, then it was my turn and some minutes later Naomi had to get into the ring. Mum lost her nerves for a short time (because I had been "nasty" in the ring by did not wanting to stand properly and still), and so our breeder Ondrej handled Naomi. A short breather was followed by the turn of Ula, who was shown by Mum again. Then it turned a bit calmer and we could sleep for a while in our kennel while the humans had a chat. Unusualle the judge made his decision about the CACIB for the males immediately after having judged the powderpuff boys, and so Falkor had to be picked up in a hurry as he had won the open class. After the judging of the powderpuff females it was time for the CACIB of the ladies, by which once again big tension appeared, but the beginning nerve wrecking time was finally rewarded very positively. Now here are the results of the past weekend of myself, Fidji, Naomi and Ula. A bit earlier than on Saturday we went back home to Ivana and of course once again there was a delicious meal before Mum started her way home with us.

Dear Lubo did not only spoil us with great meals, but on both days took lots of photos of all the show. Thank you very, very much Lubo - therewith, we have another nice memory of our shows. Via the gallery you can find these pictures of Fidji, Naomi, Ula and myself.

We all are grateful for the pleasant time at Fidji's and Naomi's breeder and family, and of course for the incredible hospitality! It was really two and a half great days which we don't want to miss. To our breeder Ondrej we say thank you that on the second show day he helped out to handle Naomi at the occasion of Mum's weak nerves.

Till soon, dear friends (really very soon)! And till then we wish you all and your families all the very best!

October 28, 2007
Our vet still has an Italian Greyhound available: The sweet tiny boy's name is ENRICO and he was born on June 13, 2007. His parents are CH. CASANOVA Talata (from Norway, Champ. Denmark) and ATLANTA GEORGIA Cantante.

October 17, 2007
There are new pictures in Fidji's slide show.

October 7, 2007
Yesterday we have all been at Naomi's and Fidji's family and have enjoyed wonderful hours in the garden. Our little Fidji had her particular fun, as she could toll around with four of her siblings, and she enjoyed it. Lubo has cooked a gorgeous meal .......... but unfortunately only for the human. In the evening our breeders Iveta and Ondrej came over, and before we all went home we visited them for short.

Lots of thanks for the wonderful hospitality, dear Ivana and dear Lubo. We have enjoyed the hours with you as much as always. In some time we meet again, latest when we all together go to our next show beginning of November 2007 and spend two nights with our family and friends.

There are some new photos - of Fidji (from yesterday and today), Naomi and also of myself (Voodoo).

September 23, 2007
Some new photos of Naomi have been added to her slide show "Naomi's Childhood".

September 23, 2007
For a little Chinese Crested a new period in his life has began yesterday: My son "Dao Dempsey" (Family Song's DEMPSEY) has been picked up by his owners and now lives in Austria (Bad Ischl) with Sandra & Bernd, their little son Lauro and the cat Mauki as well as turtle Morla. All the very best, little boy!

In the morning Mum and we started our trip and met Dao's owners at the border. Together we drove to Ula's and my breeders. It was a big pleasure for Sandra & Bernd to finally take the little gnome into their arms. At about noon they started for their trip home. My son Dior has now also a new home: he lives in Italy. Only my daughter Deina (powderpuff) is still in the house of my breeders, and little "Eliot" (Sea Fire's Faithful Falkor x Ch. Groteska Alexa Lachesis), who is a half-brother to myself and also to Naomi.

Mum then went to the vet with our little Fidji, as the next vaccination was due for our youngest one. Afterwards we spent some great hours with wonderful weather in the garden of our breeders and a bit later with Naomi's and Fidji's breeder. As always we dogs enjoyed time together with our family members and friends while the people chattet. Only late in the evening we went back home. There Mum found a message in her mailbox that the trip for Dao had been fine: no travel sickness, no whining. GREAT! Now we look forward to the photos of the small guy to see how he grows.

The slide shows of Fidji as well as my children have been updated becaue naturally as always Mum had her camera with her.

Till next time, today we enjoy the great weather in our own garden together with our Briard and Yorkie family.

September 18, 2007
Yesterday evening our tiny little Fidji discovered something new: the hammock on the cat tree. She had her fun and joy in there, and Mum succeeded with some cute photos. Just take a look into the slide show "Fidji's Childhood".

September 16, 2007
New pictures of Fidji in her slide show "Fidji's Childhood", new photos of Ula and myself in our galleries.

September 11, 2007
The first photos of Fidji from here at home are available, and therewith, the slide show "Fidji's Childhood" has been inaugurated.

September 8, 2007
We have unexpectedly got an addition to the family. Well, unexpected for us dogs, Mum of course knew about it and has surprised us:

At noon she drove away and only took Naomi with her. That was kind of strange for us, and Ula and myself also were a bit disappointed that we had to stay at home. Only many hours later Mum came back home and brought a new fragrance to the house: The foursome is full now, a tiny black and white hairless girl, which is exactly eight weeks old today, has moved here. Now it's obvious why during the past weeks we have so often been at Naomi's breeder and family. The small one's name is Fidji and she is a half-sister of Naomi. And now it's also obvious why Mum instead of going to bed last night, sat at the PC until early this morning, after all of us had laid down and the house was silent: she has integrated little Fidji into our homepage and there is already a photo album, a slide show of her family, her pedigree and a short introduction of Fidji .......... and of course there will be more news from here soon.

September 7, 2007
Today we have received the professional photos of Ing. Hanus Brychta from the show in Bratislava on August 18 and 19. Our slide shows have now been updated with these photos, to be found under Ula's Shows and Voodoo's Shows.

A very warm thank you to Ing. Brychta! He has given us a big pleasure therewith!

September 5, 2007
We have a sad spirit her since yesterday: Mum had to hear that a very gorgeous Briard boy, which she has bred, yesterday went over the Rainbow Bridge to his parents, some of his siblings and the others of this family. She grieves as much as the owners of this unique dog.

Chaos was a son of the here unforgotten two Briards Samson and Yazoo (myself - Voodoo - got to know Yazoo, she was a darling!). He lived in Sweden, where he had a life which would be desirable for any animal, in a wonderful home, at last together with the Picard girl Valise. Chaos was, according to how he looked like, completely his father Samson and according to his nature completely the mother Yazoo. In May 2005 our Mum visited Chaos and his family in Sweden and it has been absolutely unforgettable days. Something which Mum will also never forget: when she was back home an e-mail from Inger came, saying: "... Chaos lay on your bed for a while when we got home, whining softly, ...". These words came into Mum's mind when she received this very sad message yesterday .......... and all the memories of the wonderful days together with Chaos - the Swedish National Briard Specialty, where Chaos was shown by her, the nights, which Chaos all spent with her, .......... - were like a movie in her mind.

And something else is linked up very, very closely with Chaos: Mum visited a big show in Sweden together with Inger and there she got to know and fell in love with our breed. So somehow one can say: In recognition of Chaos we are here and thanks to him, a new epoch began here in this house. Is it any wonder that Mum is depressed since yesterday?

Inger and Bosse, we three Chinese also want to let you know that we would like to comfort you if we could, and that we are grateful that our Mum discovered the love to our breed through the travel to you. It would be wonderful if once you could come over to us - you are warmly welcome here at any time!

September 2, 2007
A new slide show has been set up, a photo album with all the three of us, with some photos of today: Voodoo - Ula - Naomi.

September 1, 2007
Today we have again been at our breeders - this time also Dad joined us, for the very first time. He was thrilled by all the dogs in both kennels, and for sure this will not have been his last visit in Bernolákovo. As always we spent great hours with our families and friends, even though less than usually, as we did not want to keep our Briard and Yorkie family too long at home alone.

Let's see when there are again news from us. Until then we wish all a good time.

August 25, 2007
Totally surprising we went to our breeders in Slovakia today - with interests for one of my sons. Dempsey was chosen, a very bright and cute boy. His future family is now making the booked vacation and on September 22, the little guy will be picked up to live here in Austria. To my daughter Daiane we could say good-bye, as she was picked up when we arrived. She lives in Bratislava and for sure we will see her more often.

Well, and as we were already in Bernolákovo, we visited Naomi's breeder and family, to see the puppies and to chat a bit. In one week there will be a "continuation".

August 20, 2007
Last weekend there was the two days show in Bratislava. As always we went already one day earlier to our breeders, as we slept there. Of course we have also visited Naomi's family. We won't be done out of that, because Ivana and her family are since July living in the same village like our family. Naturally the puppies (F litter "Dandy Mate") - the half siblings of Naomi - have been admired and cuddled. They are now five weeks old and really cute.

At the show we met again lots of friends and acquaintance and spent a nice time together. Altogether 6 dogs out of our kennel were shown and rather successful: Ula's children Ambiente "Ares" and Airy Ancietta have won on both day puppy class; Hopkirk, my half-brother, won on both days honory class; unfortunately we have forgotten the result of Bella's daughter Ypsy; Ula ran i Champion class an got Exc. 4 on both days (with real great judgement, but unfortunately she had turned to come into a false pregnancy) and I got on Saturday in Champion class Exc. 1 CAC Res. CACIB and on Sunday Exc. 2 Res. CAC (on the second day I was not in the mood to stand still). So another rather successful weekend for our dear breeders and also for Mum.

It's a pity that nearly all photos did not turn out good as our photographer was too hectic with Mum's camera. So in our show slide shows this time there are not many photos. but take a look at Ula's Shows and Voodoo's Shows. Instead there are some new pictures in Naomi's slide show ein paar neue Bilder - with a new "discovery".

Until beginning of November we have a show rest, then once again we are going to give our very best at our last appearance in the year 2007, and as it certainly looks like, our Naomi will then have her very first appearance in the show ring.

But this does not mean that we won't continue to travel to our families frequently - already in two weeks we are going again to Slovakia, and this time our Daddy will join us for the very first time, as he finally after many years has got a new passport. We are looking forward to what he will say about our two great families.

August 5, 2007
Yesterday we have again been at our families together with Mum. But before we went to visit Iveta, Jozef and Ondrej, we drove to our vet where Mum bought lots of food for us, so that we are stocked up for quite a while. Then finally we went to Ula's and my (Voodoo's) kennel, where we also visited my children and the puppies of Lilly. There is already a flurry of activity, as both litters are five and six weeks old and toll around and about. Of course there are brand new photos of my children.

In the late afternoon we all together went to Ivana, Lubo and David, where the humans were expected by a great dinner: there was a barbecue and Lubo had given gorgeous meat and vegetable sorts on the grill, and delicious sorts of salats had been prepared. The smell was just wonderful, but unfortunately we dogs did not get anything of all that. While our humans were enjoying the meal, we dogs ran around in the garden and played. Naomi was once again thrilled that she could play and run around with her dad Falkor. And of course Mum looked at the puppies of Naomi's mom Sherry and took some pictures. This litter is now three weeks of age and the small ones start to crawl around.

A wonderful Saturday with great weather is behind us and we look forward to our next visit in our native country at our families and friends.

To both families our special thanks for the hospitality and the pleasant hours. It was great! In two weeks we will meet again, because then Ula and myself are entered to the two days show in Bratislava, and we are going to spend two nights in Slovakia together with Mum. Of course Naomi will also join us.

July 22, 2007
There are new photos of Naomi and myself (Voodoo) in our gallery.

July 21, 2007
Since the night of July 16, our Mum is back home from her short vacation in Switzerland. There she had a Friday 13th, which was rather black for her during all the day, but in the evening turned to be a lucky day. Interested ones can find more details about this event in our Briard site, as this is easier and I need not tell everything which I heard from Mum as well as Gizmo and Courage.

Mum was at home with us during all the past week, but with the extreme heat (up to 39° in the shade) we were rather seldom in the garden. Only in the evening when it was dark and a bit cooler we were in the mood to toll around. Our dear Naomi was the only one who also wanted to go to the garden in the afternoons, as she is a water rat and tolled around and about in her mini pool.

Today once again we went on tour with Mum: First we went to our vet in Slovakia where our Yorkie friends Amaretto and Absinth got their yearly shots. And as we were there, little Naomi got her microchip implanted. She was perfectly brave, no sound from her.

Afterwards we went to our breeders were we visited my children. They have really grown in the past two weeks. Unfortunately there are no photos this time, because with all the chatting and a trip to Naomi's breeder finally there was no more time for that. But in two weeks we will make up for it, when my children will already be running around.

At Naomi's breeder Ivana we looked at Naomi's half siblings, who were just one week old today. Some photos of them were taken and here we present one picture of the F litter Dandy Mate. The time with Ivana we spent in the garden together with her dogs with expeditions, playing and sleeping. Most active was of course Naomi, who finally was the most tired, and after our return back home only had her dinner and went to bed.

That was it for today. I will turn up again latest in two weeks when we are back from our trip to my children. Till then we wish all a continuing nice summer.

July 9, 2007

Our "little" Naomi is six months old today. Not to believe, since she just came here to our home. Best wishes for your half-year-birthday, dear Naomi!

Well, and yesterday we have been - as announced - in Slovakia at our brreders and family. Mum has taken some photos of my puppies and they are now in the slide show of my offspring.

Tomorrow Mum travels to some friends at the "Bodensee". As the weather is forecasted rather bad till Thursday, we three stay at home and wait for the stories which Mum as well as Gizmo and Courage will bring back home - and of course for photos of this short vacation. For sure we won't get bored, as there are daily things to experience with the others here, and Dad is also at home.

Till next time. In the meantime we wish a pleasant time!

June 30, 2007
Today we have again been visiting our breeders in Slovakia. Really exciting, as there were puppies to look at: Ula's sister Lilly (Champ. Family Song's ULIEN) has given birth to her first children on June 21, 2007 (2 boys powderpuff, 1 boy hairless), and yesterday there was a big day for me (Voodoo): Bella (Champ. BELLA STELLA Hot Chocolate) has given birth to my first offspring, and Mum was of course rather thrilled. As soon as birth was over yesterday, she received an e-mail and an SMS about the pleasant news. A great litter: 7 puppies (1 boy powderpuff, 2 boys hairless, 3 girls powderpuff, 1 girl hairless). Real sweet dwarfs, these 10 puppies in our kennel. Of course lots of pictures were taken and Mum has now set up a slide show for my offspring. Have fun while taking a look.

Maybe next weekend we go again looking at the puppies. :-)

June 17, 2007
Once again we have a wonderful and "exciting" day behind us: Yesterday noon we we went to Slovakia to our family and Mum was also shortly at our vet to get food for all of us for the near future. Right for the welcome at our breeders Ula (SR Champion) and myself (SR Junior Champion and SR Champion) received our Championship confirmations and certificates, which will soon decorate a wall here in the house. Great, now we have our success also in black and white. :-)

Then we went off to an important examination. My mom Greta (Ch. Groteska Alexa Lachesis), Bella (Ch. Bella Stella Hot Chocolate), Ula, Naomi und myself were examined for Patella subluxation and the results of all of us are the same and real great: we all are Patella negative! You can for sure imagine the jos of our breeders and of Mum.

There was great weather again, and so we spent all the afternoon in the garden. Ivana and David also came, later in the afternoon also some family members of Iveta and Jozef. While the humans were chatting, we dogs spent our time with playing and sleeping. My brother Hopi (Ch. Family Song's Hopkirklachesis) amused everyone with his incredible gymnastics practice. Pictures of that and of myself can be found in my slide show.

Jozef served a kettle goulash which he had cooked. Just the smell made all our mouth water, but we dogs did not get anything of it. For the humans it tasted good, as we could hear and see, and Jozef was highly praised for this excellent meal.

Unfortunately this great day passed way too fast (thanks a lot to Iveta and Jozef for the wonderful hours!), and when it got dim Mum drove home with us. But in two weeks we will go again to our breeders, as we want to take a look at the babies of Lilly (Ch. Family Song's Ulien), Ula's sister, which will soon be born, and maybe also my children will by then be on earth. We will see...... Anyway, latest then you can read more news here.

June 3, 2007
Three days with shows, two dogs entered .......... three championships finished (see news back till June 1). Our weekend with the show marathon is over and now we have a rest from shows till mid of August.

Today, but this time early in the morning we went again together with Naomi's breeder Ivana to Nitra, and today her son David joined us. The today's results have also made everyone happy: Falkor, Naomi's Vater, came with CAC out of middle class, Ula with Res. CAC out of open class and myself with CAC out of open class.

As I now have got another CAC at a further International show, we can use the one from Mai from Bratislava for another Championship. During one weekend I have made two championships: I am Slovakian Youth Champion since June 1, 2007, and since today Slovakian Champion! Nobody has reckoned on that, and that with one CAC before my second birthday at an International Show I can also turn Youth Champion, the human only realized on Friday, as I had been Youth Winner twice last year.

We congratulate our breeders for three Championships during one weekend, and we are grateful for the great show preparations as well as the wonderful assistance for Mum, for whom the shows with small dogs have been completely new.

A wonderful weekend lies behind us, and for sure we will remember these gorgeous three days for a while. Lots of thanks for the great hospitality to Iveta, Jozef, Ondrej and Martin, lot os thanks to Ivana for the rides to all three shows, and we look forward to a reunion soon, latest when Bella has whelped the puppies from me.

See the photos of today's show in Ula's slide show and in the one of myself.

June 2, 2007
Today at noon Naomi's breeder Ivana and her husband Lubo picked us up, so that we all could travel to the Specialty in Nitra together. Ula got excellent 4, which is really not bad, as the judge fave lots of "very good" and good. I won my class again and got CAC, which meant much today, because there were also classes where no title was given, respectively no "excellent". The three other boys in my class got "very good" and "good". So we all can be pleased with another win of myself.

Tomorrow, with the International Show in Nitra our show marathon of this weekend is over, and then we have a rest from shows till mid of August.

June 1, 2007
Our three days show weekend began really great: Ula and myself have won our classes and got CAC. Therewith, we both are Slovakian Champions since today. You can for sure imagine the pleasure of our breeders and our Mum. But our breeders and Mum hope for more, namely if I receive another CAC on Sunday, I would therewith gain another Championship. Oh well, we will see ..........

Yesterday evening we arrived at our breeders' where we will stay till Sunday. Our Naomi is also with us, even though she is still not in the show ring. Maybe she is our lucky charm.

Today at noon we went together with Ivana, Naomi's breeder, to the show in Senec. Naomi's father Falkor has also won his class and got CAC, so a great day for Ivana as well. Tomorrow we all drive to the next show - we are going to Nitra to the second Slovakian Specialty of this year.

May 26, 2007
Since it is summerly hot, there is a "swimming pool" for us small ones. The only one who makes the most of it, is our little Naomi - she is a real keen swimmer. And sometimes she takes advantage of it as the last resort, when Ula during tolling is behind her .......... becaue Ula does not go into water. A real sly dog, our little Naomi.

Today, finally, Mum could take some photos while Naomi was splashing around in her "pool". Of course the photos are already in her slide show. Have fun looking at them!

May 26, 2007
As we have got to know today, my - Voodoo's - first children will be born end of June 2007. The details can be read in our Breeding page. We all are pleased together with our breeders about these offsprings and fingers are tightly crossed, that everything will be as Iveta and Ondrej wish.

Mai 21, 2007
Today we had birthday celebration: I, Voodoo, have turned to be two years of age. This is not only a special day all in all, but also because from now on I will compete in open class at shows. This will not be easy as the concurrence is hard and most of them are fairly older than I. We will see.

Anyway, I have been celebrated and spoilt respectably today I really liked it very much. :-)

Otherwise at the moment there is only to say that the coming weekend we will not be on tour, but spend the holidays at home and will enjoy the summer days with Mum in the garden. Only in a week we will travel again, because we have three days of shows in Slovakia.

May 14, 2007
Our past weekend was as great and successful as the previous was: Overnight stay with our breeders, therewith great hours together with them and on Sunday international show in Bratislava with success repeat to Banska Bystrica. With gorgeous weather Ula went Exc. 1, CAC in open class with hard concurrence, her sister Lilly in Champion class also Exc. 1, CAC and myself in middle class as well Exc. 1, CAC. The only difference to the weekend a week ago: our litte Naomi joined us and could breath show air for the first time.

Once again we have met besides Naomi's breeder Ivana also her husband Lubo and the son David, as well as all our friends. For the very first time also two children of Ula were in the ring in baby class (we all were very happy about that!): her sons Armani and Ambiente "Ares". Both got the score very promising. (Unfortunately the photos of Armani did not turn out good.) These are two sweet little rascals, and Ares attraced special attention, as he is as funny and bright as he always was, and is a real credit to his pet name "Turbo Mouse", which was given to him by Mum and Iveta.

Big congratulation to our breeders for these great show results, and once again thank you very much for the hospitality and the wonderful hours we could spend with them. Some special thanks goes to Lubo, who took photos of our show appearences with Mum's camera, so that there are new pictures in our Show slide shows.

Till soon, latest in three weeks when we are at shows for three days in a row, and when we spend the nights with our breeders an our four pawed family members and friends.

May 6, 2007

We have another weekend in Slovakia at our breeders' behind us: a great weekend!

Yesterday afternoon we first drove to our vet to have our little Naomi vaccinated against rabies, so that she is completely vaccinated now. Then we drove to our breeders where we have been already expected. We were a bit late because Mum had driven down from the highway a bit too fast and was caught by a radar. So we had to stop, show all the papers and then pay the fine (fortunately not too high, as the kind policeman probably had compassion with us foreigners. THANK YOU, dear Mr. Policeman, you were great!).

A nice afternoon, again excellent meals, a comfortable evening and in between beauty styling for us .......... and then we went to bed - comparatively late as always on such weekends. Today at 5 in the morning the alarm woke us, as at 5:45 a.m. Naomi's breeder Ivana picked us up (together with Naomi's Dad Falkor and Carrlos, an offspring of Naomi's breeder), to drive with her to the show in Banska Bystrica. Ula's sister Lilly joined us, and of course our breeder Iveta.

We were not really taken this time, because sind the late evening yesterday we had pouring rain and this did not mean anything good for us: the show in Banska Bystrica is outdoor and, therefore, everyone feared about our styling, and our humans did not even have to think about wearing nice clothes. With lots of umbrellas, thick awnings for our crates and raincoats for us and our humans we left at 6 a.m. And our "expectations" were even surpassed: through soaking wet grass and deep mud our Mums had to pull and push us in our crates and all the "luggage" to the ring. When finally we arrived there, our Mums where a bit done. Building up all the cover against rain had to be done rather fast, as our breed was the first to be judged in the ring. Everything worked fine and our Mums could shortly take a breath before they had to go to the ring with us, one after the other. But now the reward for all the effort came: except Carrlos we all went Exc. 1 and CAC in our classes. With these results Iveta, Ivana and Mum were immediately compensated for everything, and they were thrilled. They did not even recognise the bad weather any more.

Very early in the afternoon we were allowed to leave and get back home, which really pleasd al of us, so that we could spend some more nice hours with our breeders and have a great lunch. Naomi had stayed with Jozef and all the other dogs, and she was so thrilled when we came back. She did not even want to stop to reserve our Mum.

As the weather had been so bad, Mum had not taken our camera to the show. We have then - because finally it had stopped raining - taken some photos at Iveta, so that there is still a small memory of this show. We three Family Song's dogs were photographed one by one and all together. These pictures are of course already in our slide shows (Ula's Shows and my Shows).

So even with very bad weather and not too good conditions in the show ring a day full of success, and especially once again some more great success for our breeders: three dogs entered, three winners. Big congratulation, dear Iveta and dear Ondrej! And of course many thanks to Jozef, that he took care that our little Naomi had a great time while she was not with us. Congratulation of course also to Ivana for another great success of Falkor, the great Dad of our sweet Naomi!

In the evening we all went home comfortably - we have been sleeping fine in our huge vari kennel. And as always there was a big hello from all the other family members at home when we opened the door.

In one week we are off again to a show, so we spend next weekend again in the house of our breeders. And when we are back home, you will get to hear how it was. Till then .......... we wish you all a pleasant and successful new week.

April 29, 2007
This weekend we had again a big family reunion in Slovakia: Yesterday we drove to our breeders, where Naomi's breeder Ivana also came with all her dogs. Sunshine and summer temperatures invited for many hours in the garden. This time Mum could take some nice photos. Our little Naomi is on most of these pictures, so the photos came into the slide show "Naomi's Childhood".
Today we visited our breeders again for short, but with all the wind it was not the fun we had yesterday.

Next weekend we are going to spend the night in Slovakia, because Ula and myself are at the show in Banska Bystrica on Sunday, and therewith, we are going to meet all again. Let's see what we can then report.

April 22, 2007
New photos of Naomi in her slide show "Naomi's Childhood".

April 21, 2007
A new site of our homepage is now online: Breeding.

April 14, 2007
Today our little Naomi needed another vaccination, and so we drove to our vet in Slovakia. And of course we took the opportunity to visit our breeders. Naomi's breeder, so our friend Ivana, also came - with all her dogs, by which Naomi could see her parents and her brother Dieggo Cossmo as well as her half-brother Eastwood again. There was really much going on: 15 dogs (6 Chinese Crested hairless, 4 powderpuff, 4 Yorkies and one German Shorthaired Pointer puppy) played in the courtyard and in the garden. As the weather was absolutely summerly, we spent all our time in the open until our departure in the evening. Unfortunately the wishes of Mum around photos did not turn out as she had thought, because there is only one single picture in Naomi's slide show now, but who cares ... there will be lots of opportunities for taking picutures of us.

As always, our stay with our family was very pleasant and we enjoyed the time. Latest on May 5 we will meet again, when on the occasion of our show on May 6, we are going to spend the night there. We really look forward to that!

April 1, 2007
A sunny warm weekend is behind us and we all could enjoy many hours in the garden on both days: playing, tolling, lazing around .......... it was gorgeous. Today Mum took many photos of us and they can now be admired via our gallery. I restrained myself unobtrusively, but Ula and Naomi as well a s Naomi with our Briard friends Frizzante and Oh-Lala can be found there.

March 25, 2007
Yesterday noon we drove to Slovakia again. Naomi needed her second vaccination and afterwards we visited our breeders, where Naomi could again play with her half-sister and we could chat with the family.
For last weekend for the show a dear friend of our Mum had made two very special suits for us. We did wear these dresses outside of the show ring, but last week there was no chance to take fotos of us. So Mum fetched the chance today at our breeders: we posed in our great outfit, once each single, once both of us. Some of these photos are now in our gallery: "Ula is grown up", "Voodoo is grown up" and "Voodoo and Ula". Really great suits that we have got. And in the next months we are going to get more of them, as cloth for that purpose, so that we need not appear in our home dresses at shows when it is cold.

Of course we all have enjoyed the visit at our breeders. In three weeks we will be there again, that is when Naomi needs another vaccination and we, therefore, go to our vet again. If there is nothing special in the meantime, latest by then there will be news again from us. So, till soon ..........

March 19, 2007
On the last weekend time had come, Ula's and my show season has began!
Already on Saturday noon we all - Ula, Naomi, Gizmo, Mum and myself - drove to our breeders to be prepared for the show on Sunday and to spend the night there. Early on Sunday morning we started with two cars in direction : Our breeder Ondrej and his brother Martin started with Ula's sister Lilly and with Emira, the young girl of our breeder as well as with all our "luggage" and reserved a nice place besides our ring. Ivana, Naomi's breeder, then came and with her, her son David, Naomi's father Falkor the other ones of us, namely our breeder Iveta, Mum, Ula und myself also started our trip. Naomi stayed with her half sister Bailyes and the other dogs at home with Jozef, and so did our Gizmo.

Contrary to the weather forecast we had perfect weather and therewith the best conditions for a great show day. At the show we also met our vet who showed one of her girls (Italian Greyhound). In contrast to her we were lucky ones: our breed was judged nearly in the beginning, whereas the Italian Greyhounds were the last ones in the same ring.

I was the first one of us who had to go into the ring, afterwards it was Falkor's turn, then Emira, then Ula and in the end Lilly. And all of us could take great results back home: Falkor open class - Exc.2 Res. CAC, Emira baby class - Baby Winner, Ula open class - Exc.2 Res. CAC, Lilly Champion class - CAC and myself in the middle class also Exc.2 Res. CAC. Once again a great success for our breeders and of course also for Naomi's breeder Ivana and our Mum.

After some shopping we decided to drive back home to our breeders to spend a pleasant afternoon there. As Emira went Baby Winner, she could get into the ring of honour for the finals of the show, and therefore Ondrej, Martin and Emira stayed and the rest of us drove back with Ivana to the house of our breeders, where we were expected cheerfully by all of the ones who had remained at home (human as well as dogs). In the late afternoon a phone call came in: Emira had been placed third among all the Baby Winners, and some time later came home with Ondrej, Martin and her first cup. BIG CONGRATULATION to the small beautiful lady!!!

A great weekend is behind us and we look forward to the next one, which hopefully will come soon. Our warm thanks once again goes to our breeders for their hospitality and to Ivana for having driven us to the show.

In the evening we went back home, where we were had of course a cheerful welcome by all our furry friends. After a big lunch we all dropped into bed, tired but happy.

Of course pictures were also taken, which was not that easy because of the size of the ring and the lighting conditions, but still there are some photos of Ula and myself in our slide shows "Ula's Shows" and "Voodoo's Shows". And there are also some new photos of Naomi, even some together with her father Falkor. You can find these in the slide show "Naomi's Childhood". Have fun!

March 10, 2007
Yesterday and today our little Naomi could - partly joined by Ula and myself - gain experience and get to know friends. That was rather exciting for her, but also interesting and funny. We have been driving around with the car, have visited friends of Mum, there was a visit in the garden with bright sunshine, and today Naomi has even been in a restaurant with Mum and two friends. Some of the today's photos have turned out good and have therefore come into Naomi's slide show.

Now we hope that we have sunshine again tomorrow, because since afternoon it is raining, and then the small go out and explore our surroundings with both of us.

March 6, 2007
Since yesterday it is a bit more "heated" already with Naomi: Ula has discovered her big love to the small one and plays with her at any chance. I prefer to watch at this point, this tiny whirlwind is a bit too vehement. Besides that she needs to get to know who the boss is.

Today in the evening Mum could take some photos of the playing of Ula and Naomi. As always they have been put up into our homep and are now in the slide show "Naomi's childhood". Have fun looking at them.

March 4, 2007
Naomi's settling in works great. The night was calm, Naomi slept until 7 a.m. (again in the favorite bag) and was then very pleased about her breakfast. In the afternoon she visited the garden for the first time. While Ula and I ran around in the garden like crazy, Naomi gathered her first impressions on the meadow. Unfortunately not a single photo of the garden turned out good. But afterwards in the house some nice pictures were taken, and they can already be seen in Naomi's slide show. Now she sleeps again .......... naturally in the bag .......... and therefore, Mum can quickly put this update, before it's playing time again. Till soon! ..........

March 3, 2007
The big day: little Naomi is now with us. At noon we went to our breeder Iveta and in the early afternoon Ivana brought the tiny girl over. She was sleeping in the bag which Mum hat brought to the puppies one week ago. She loves this bag and jumped in there over and over again when she wanted to have a rest. Naomi also got some things with her: her favorite toy, a great ceramics food bowl, a new blanket and her accustomed food.

A half sister of Naomi, a daughter of Naomi's father Falkor (Seafire's FAITHFUL FALKOR) and my (Voodoo's) mother Greta (Ch. GROTESKA Alexa Lachesis) is in the home of our breeder. With that girl Naomi was playing and tolling around. Before we went back home Naomi was again sleeping in our bag ...... and she continued that all the journey back home.

For all of us the afternoon was once again very pleasant, but went by much too fast. But already in two weeks we are going to spend a weekend with our breeder (Ula and I have show in Nitra) and then we will also meet Ivana again, who is obviously looking forward to see her Naomi again.

Mum has of course taken photos, already in the home of our breeder and then at home. And see, another new site has been created in our homepage: Naomi's Childhood, there you can see some of the today's pictures.

DEJA VU "NAOMI" Dandy Mate

Before we say goodbye for today, Mum wants to thank Ivana for this lovely girl and for having parted from this charming treasure Naomi, so that she can now live with us. With this daughter of Falkor, Ivana has made a big dream of our Mum become true, because since she met Falkor for the very first time, she was dreaming of a girl looking like him. Mum and all of us here will love Naomi and will make her a wonderful life here. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, dear Ivana! To our breeder Iveta Mum is grateful that we are welcome in her house at any time and that she always took her time for the visits at Naomi and her family, to join her. THANK YOU, dear Iveta!

March 2, 2007
Today in the morning Mum found some photos of little Naomi in her mailbox and was very pleased about them. The slide show Baby Naomi has now been updated. And because we have the permission of Naomi's breeder Ivana, that we can also use other photos of her, Mum has put some new pictures into the slide show Naomi's Family (they can be seen behind the photos of the parents).

The last preparations for the arrival of our new family member are drawn to a close and that means, only once more sleeping and then time has come .......... then we are driving to Bratislava and pick up little Naomi. Mum is already counting the hours .......... well, we did not expect anything else.

Probably latest by end of the coming weekend there will be news from here and also photos of all of us. Till then we send warm regards to you and wish you a relaxing, most pleasant weekend.

February 25, 2007
Yesterday Mum once again went to Slovakia, alone. Therewith, it was obvious that she visited our future family member Naomi. We have also seen that she took our tiny little transport bag with her. She has left it with the puppies so that, when Naomi is brought here, she has the usual smell around her.

But Mum has also been at our breeders and has brought along new photos of Ula's children. They look more and more great, these little rascals. One could nearly succumb and get one more of our breeder here. :-)

Next Saturday time has come: at noon we drive to our breeders (we both join Mum, so that we can meet our family again) and then Naomi is picked up. We can hardly wait for our new family member .......... and for sure Mum is counting the hours till she has the little one with her. It's much certain that then news will be found here.

February 17, 2007
We are back home from Belgium. It has been some nice days, which unfortunately passed much too fast, but we have enjoyed them. Thanks a lot to our host for the great hospitality!

There are no new photos from us, it was too cold to stay for a longer time in the garden. But there are pics from Chica, the daughter of Zabou. Mum was thrilled to see this girl again after 4 months and about the fact, that she recognized Mum. Well, which puppy forgets its breeder. ..........

Mum has also worked on our homepage: she has constructed the pedigree of Naomi, a page with her short introduction and the page with her family as well as put up some more photos of our future family member into the gallery "Baby Naomi". She thanks Ivana, that she is allowed to use these pictures in our site.

All in all a real nice vacation, even though it was only very short.

We will meet here again probably soon.

February 12, 2007
Time has come, this night we are going to start our trip to Belgium where we are going to meet the sister of our family member Courage. Hopefully Mum can take some nice pictures which you can then admire when we are back home the coming weekend. Till then ......

February 11, 2007
Here things started happening very fast today:
As a birthday surprise for Ula we got to know today, that some of us, namely Ula, Gizmo, Zabou, Mum and I - will make a trip to Belgium in the next couple of days. GREAT! For Ula this is new, Gizmo, Zabou and I have already been there last year in May.

Well, an then THE bit surprise: Today at noon Mum left with the car without us. We were sad because usually she does not do that. Since she had the camera with her, we knew that obviously there would be something interesting for her to see. Only when she came back home late in the evening, we found out what she had undertaken:

Shortly she had been at our vet, then at our breeders and from there she went off with our dear Iveta to our friend Ivana (also a breeder of our breed), to take a look at puppies. And now comes the incredible thing: Beginning of March we are going to have another family member. A small girl (hairless as we are) will be coming to us - little DÉJA VU NAOMII Dandy Mate (called Naomi) ...... This is something we had never expected. And just imagine, here in our homepage there is already a site for the photo album of Baby Naomi.

DÉJA VU NAOMII "Naomi" Dandy Mate

We thought that would surprise you. Soon we are going to be three Chinese here in the house ..........

And then Mum and our breeder have decided that we are going to be in the show ring again mid of Marach - so we are going to sleep at our breeders on March 17, and leave to Nitra on March 18, to start our show season there. But till then you will find some more news here.

From the four children of Ula, which are still at our breeders, Mum took also some pictures and therefore the puppy slide show has been updated.

Tremendous news, as you can see .......... And we don't worry that Mum will get bored, since for sure she will be starting to build up Naomi's sites in this homepage or change the website completely.

February 11, 2007
Ula celebrates her second birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, dear Ula! We are going to spoil you very much today and we'll make you a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday, Ula

Thanks a lot to Iveta, that she gave us this great, sweet girl in May last year, although she would have loved to keep her.

February 4, 2007
Totally unexpected Mum and we went to our breeders yesterday, as our Yorkie friend Amaretto needed to go to our vet, and our breeders just live in the next village. What a surprise: Mum could finally get to know Alena, the owner of Gondy (Ch. Sasquehanna GONDOLIER), because she was in the house of our breeders for a visit. There was again some great lunch (THANKS SO MUCH, Iveta!!!), lots of chatting and some playing with Ula's children. All in all a real great day for us!

January 31, 2007
For our kennel name Caipirinha's there is now a domain. From there you can get to the Briard site as well as to this site. From tomorrow on it should be online.

January 21, 2007
Two news at once:

Yesterday two of my small friends have gone to a new home: Armagnac and Asti Spumante, two sons of Gizmo, have found at the age of two and a half year a family, where they can live a great life and where we are going to visit them. I still have two sibling of the boys, with which I can continue playing: Amaretto and Absinth.

And today time had come: we have picked up our dear Ula wieder geholt. At noon Mum and I drove to our breeders to take pictures of the sweet children of Ula zu fotografieren and to drive home with here in the evening. In und dann abends mit ihr nach Hause zu fahren. In Ula's site you can read about the good-bye. Now I finally have my dearest friend with me again!

The visits at our breeders will now not be weekly, but of course still frequently, and before shows we will go there earlier and spend the nights there. It will not take too long till the show season begins for us ......

Till next time!

January 14, 2007
Today in the morning Mum and I have been travelling again to Ula, her children and our family. This time also Gizmo joined us.

What a joy to meet all again. And then also one puppy more: my mom has given birth to a dark hairless girl during the week.

Ula's children are already very lively en route and they are very funny. It's really a big pleasure to watch them. You can again read more in Ula's site. And of course we will be with our family again next weekend.

January 7, 2007
A beautiful, pleasant, long day at our breeders is behind us, but we also miss my big brother Hopkirk, who gave us pleasure a week long. Well, maybe one day he will come again for vacation with us.

We had lots of joy with Ula's puppies, which are already very funny and play much. You can read more about that in Ula's site. And from the many photos that have been taken, some very beautiful ones have been put into the puppy puppy gallery. In one week we are again going to our big great family .......... hopefully the week is over soon.

January 6, 2007
Tomorrow my big brother Hopkirk is going back home again after his one week vacation here with us. Today in the morning it was fairly dry and so Mum could take some photos from Hopkirk's last vacation day while we were outside in the garden.

I could hear Mum say that Hopkirk was very well-behaved and that he is very welcome here at any time. It would be great if he could come again visiting us, because I also had fun with him during this one week.

The photos from today in the morning are in Hopkirk's vacation gallery, in my own gallery there have also been added some pictures.

And when tomorrow we bring my big brother back home, we see our dear Ula again of course, and her children. They are one months of age today. Mum very much looks forward to take pictures of the small ones. For sure you can admire them already in the evening in this homepage.

January 2 , 2007
Yesterday evening a surprise was found in Mum's mailbox: many photos and a video of Ula's children from the Silvester day. The owner of Gondy (Ch. Sasquehanna GONDOLIER), the sire of the puppies, had visited our breeder and has made the photos and the video, and her daughter sent them over to us yesterday. THANKS SO MUCH to Alena and Lada! You have made Mum very happy.

These photos can now be admired in the puppy slide show. Really cute, my little relatives!

As you know, my big brother Hopkirk (Ch. Family Song's HOPKIRKLACHESIS) is here since Saturday for a week of vacation. He feels quite comfortable here already and has been got used to the other big dogs in the house .......... and he takes care to be spoilt much. Unfortunately the weather is not too good, so we cannot spend too much time in the garden, and that is why all the photos until now are from indoor. Yesterday some more pics have been taken from Hopi, and they are now in his holiday gallery.

That was all for today. Till soon!

January 1 , 2007
We wish our families and all our friends as well as all Chinese Crested fanciers a Happy New Year as well as healthiness, luck, fun and success for 2007. We look forward to meet the one and other again this year in the show rings, by surprise and just for fun.
